Music in The City - Pub Rock in Perth (SOLD OUT)
About
Throughout the 1970s and 80s, Perth had the biggest live music scene in the country, with sweaty beer barns and inner-city pubs filled to capacity in thrall of great music.
Relive the heyday of Perth’s pub rock scene with a panel of musos who made it happen.
Panellists for this session are:
Robert Bailey – perhaps best known as an early bass player for AC/DC, but also a member of Perth bands The Obelia Rudy and the Aardvarks, and Acid Road.
James Anfuso – a collector and rock music historian, who has charted the evolution of the Australian rock music scene over a career spanning five decades.
Jaime Page – guitarist in Blues Union, Invaders, Trilogy, Gypsy/Black Alice and Black Steel amongst others, who currently performs with Midnight Angel.
This event is suitable for ages 15 plus.
